Our Story

Hi, I’m Bill Hanover.  Welcome to our store! I’m going to give you a little peek into what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.

This photo tells a big part of our story:

I’m a family man and know that’s where my true treasure is in life.  Selling the highest quality products on the internet allows me to help people out and spend more time with my family.

A few years ago, my wife “Lana” and I decided we needed to plan ahead, in case of disaster in the area like an earthquake, flood, etc., or in my career; I’ve been self employed for about 16 years.

Anyway, we put some dried goods and water in our basement, but it occurred to us that we’d run out of clean drinking water pretty quickly if the local water supply became contaminated or shut down somehow.  This happens sometimes…even in America.

Having some dried food like oatmeal, wheat, rice and etc. in the basement is cool, but having no clean water to prepare them with is not so cool!  This understanding inspired us to begin searching for a way to have clean and pure water…no matter what happens.

We spent many hours on the internet doing our research and comparing many water purification systems.  There are lots of good ones, but we soon realized that some take the essential minerals out of the water, others can’t filter out all of the “nasties” like bacteria and giardia etc. 

Our final conclusion was that Berkey has the best water purification systems you can buy, so we bought.  Not only did we buy a Berkey system (and some of their other cool stuff,) but, I decided to do something totally new and become an Authorized dealer for Berkey.

Our eBay Store is a natural result of what happens when you like a product so much that you want to share it with others.  As a long-time Boy Scout leader I love the motto “Be Prepared.”  That’s what I want for my family and yours.
